Today marks the day. My journey to Thailand is finally beginning. After waiting for so long, I can now start the trip I’ve been eagerly looking forward to.
With a final check of my luggage and documents—passport, COVID-19 papers, and travel documents—I leave my house heading for the train station. A quick call to Noi on the train, and I’ve finally arrived at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Following a lengthy queue at the security checkpoint, I make my way to the gate for my first flight with Lufthansa to Munich, where my connection to Bangkok awaits.
Upon reaching Munich airport, I find I have plenty of time to grab a bite and explore the airport before it’s time to board my Lufthansa flight to Bangkok. And now, the moment has arrived. I am about to board the flight to Bangkok. The plane, an Airbus A350, beckons at the gate. Excitement surges through me. I am truly on my way to Bangkok!
