Road Trip to Koh Chang: A Journey to Paradise

Today, Noi and I set off on a road trip to Koh Chang, one of my favorite islands in Thailand. This was my second visit, and just like the first time, the excitement of the journey and the island’s beauty made the trip special. From the scenic drive to the peaceful ferry ride, it was a day of adventure and relaxation.

The drive to the coast was stunning, with lush landscapes, small villages, and glimpses of local life along the way. As we approached the ferry pier, we could already smell the salty air and feel the breeze from the ocean. The ferry ride to Koh Chang was a smooth and calming experience, with the gentle waves and the island slowly coming into view on the horizon.

Once we arrived on the island, we made our way to a lovely resort right on the beach. The sound of the waves and the view of the ocean from our room instantly made us feel like we were in paradise. Koh Chang’s natural beauty is breathtaking, with its mix of dense jungle, mountains, and pristine beaches.

After settling in, we spent the evening by the beach, enjoying the laid-back island vibe. For dinner, we kept it simple but delicious. We ordered spring rolls, crispy French fries, and a pizza that was surprisingly good for being on a tropical island. Noi had a cold beer, and I went for a refreshing cola—perfect drinks for a warm evening by the sea.

Sitting there, with the sound of the ocean in the background, it felt like the perfect way to unwind after a day of traveling. Koh Chang’s charm is in its simplicity—a place where you can truly relax, enjoy good food, and let the beauty of nature surround you. I can’t wait to explore more of the island tomorrow!
